I’m proud to say that the Star Tribune featured my Op-Ed regarding my experience being unemployed during COVID – and the inhumanity of the attack on the $600 supplemental UI so many individuals and families rely on. I did this not to solicit help – but to stand up for working families and single parents who are bearing the brunt of this economic crisis. Who have cut their budgets already – and now face another cut to a budget devoid of fat. The reality is – I am in a much better place than most who are on Unemployment. And if I am struggling – just imagine how others are faring.
